Disconnect Policy
This Khalti88 policy explains what happens if you lose internet, your device crashes, or a technical interruption occurs during active play. It covers casino games, live dealer tables, and sports and esports betting on the platform.
Dropped connections are common on mobile networks in Nepal, especially during live cricket or streamed dealer tables. The sections below describe how each product type treats an interrupted session so you know whether a stake still stands before you place another bet.
What Happens During a Disconnection
Slot Games and RNG Games
If a spin or round is already in progress, the game server decides the outcome whether or not your screen is still connected. What you see locally does not override the server result.
When you log back in, the result is applied to your NPR balance. Unfinished bonus rounds, free-spin sequences, and fishing or instant-win features are stored on the server and resume from the same point. You do not need to place the same bet again to “recover” a round that already completed.
Live Casino Games
Live tables run on a studio clock and do not wait for one player. If you disconnect mid-round:
- Bets already confirmed before the drop stand. The hand or spin continues and settles under studio rules.
- If no bet was confirmed, no stake is taken from your balance.
- Auto-play or pre-set decisions (for example, stand in blackjack) apply only if the server had already accepted them.
If you miss several consecutive rounds, only rounds with confirmed bets are settled. Empty rounds are not charged.
Sports and Esports Betting
- Bets that returned a bet ID and acceptance message are not cancelled by a disconnection. They stand at the accepted odds.
- Bets still being submitted, with no server confirmation, are not placed. No stake is deducted.
- Cash-out requests are valid only when the system confirms acceptance. An unconfirmed cash-out is not processed.
Live cricket, football, and esports odds move quickly. After you reconnect, prices may have changed. A slip that was pending when the line moved may be rejected if it is outside the accepted tolerance.
How to Check After Reconnecting
- Log in with your usual credentials
- Open transaction history for recently settled or pending outcomes
- Check open sports and esports bets for status and bet ID
- Contact support if a balance or settlement looks wrong
- Do not place a second bet to “replace” one you cannot see until history is confirmed
Preventing Disconnections
Prefer Wi-Fi over mobile data for live dealer tables and in-play cricket or football, where a few seconds matter. Close unused apps to free memory and bandwidth. Keep the device charged so it does not shut down mid-round.
If Ncell, NTC, or another network is unstable in your area, switch to Wi-Fi for live play. The mobile browser and the app can behave differently on the same phone — if one drops often, try the other.
Disputes Related to Disconnections
If you think a disconnection caused a wrong result or missing funds, contact support through any channel on the Contact Us page. Include:
- Date and time in NPT (Nepal Time)
- Game name, table name, or sports/esports event
- Stake amount in NPR
- Whether you were on the website or the app
- Screenshots if you have them (helpful, not required)
Server logs are the record of outcomes, bet acceptances, and cash-outs. Reviews use those logs, not the last frame shown on your device. Submit the report within 72 hours so logs are easier to retrieve.
The platform is not responsible for drops caused by your device, local network, internet provider, or modified software. VPNs and similar tools can increase disconnects and may also breach the Terms and Conditions.
